Alsatian delicacies...

...we experienced in abundance at our popular "Vosges Classics" over the Pentecost days. During the day the table was richly set with all kinds of trail delicacies: switchback trails, loamy trails through lush forest with carpets of roots, loose scree and technical rockgardens formed a well balanced menu and tasted as sweet as ever. 

But our taste buds were also tickled away from biking. The lavish breakfast buffet in our Auberge is legendary, great value is placed on regionality and some products come from the own farm. In the evening, the chef Francois spoiled us with many delicacies from the Alsatian cuisine: Roiggabräggeldi, Fleischschnacka, Baeckeoffa are just a few of the hearty local specialities. Add a good glass of Alsatian white wine and the day is perfect.
