This trip is part of the "Homeland of Guides" campaign. Our long-time friend and mountain guide Matthias Knaus knows the most beautiful spots for ski tourers in his homeland, the Stubai Alps. of course, always away from well-groomed slopes.

We take four days to explore the different ski tours in the Stubai Valley and will choose the best options depending on the circumstances. Thanks to years of experience in his home valley and the necessary terrain knowledge as a local, we have a real ace up our sleeve. The Stubai Valley has everything to offer as a ski tourer. From wide open powder slopes and steep gullies in alpine terrain to beautiful, moderately steep alpine meadows to perfect treeruns like in Canada. Depending on the weather, snow and avalanche conditions, math chooses the best area for the day.

Our Hotel
In the 4-star Hotel Serles in Mieders, run by the Weichinger family, you are greeted with Tyrolean warmth. Spacious rooms and Tyrolean cosiness ensure a good night's sleep after a long day of skiing. The head chef Horst Oberrauter skilfully interprets Tyrolean cuisine in a modern way and relies on regional products. In the wellness area with sauna and indoor pool, we loosen up tense muscles and switch off from everyday life. In short: the Hotel Serles is the perfect base.

Requirements
- This trip is suitable for good skiers with several years of freeride and deep snow experience. Controlled and safe skiing in any type of snow is no problem for you.
- Ascents of up to 4 hours with skins and mountable bindings are possible. Appropriate equipment, experience and fitness are required.
Participants
We offer this trip to a minimum number of 5 and maximum of 6 participants.
Included in the Price of 1290 EUR
- 4 nights with half board in a double room in Hotel Serles
- 4 days guiding by UIAGM mountain guide Matthias Knaus
- Safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel) on loan, must be registered at least 30 days before the trip

A realistic self-assessment and an appropriate fitness level is required to join our trips. In order to enjoy a long day of skiing and to reduce the risk of injury, it is important to get in shape and possess a good level of fitness.

Please note that there is a potential risk of injury on skiing trips. In addition to travel cancellation insurance, comprehensive medical and accident insurance that cover the costs of search and rescue, as well as transport costs, are imperative. Comprehensive medical and accident insurance that covers potential costs of search and rescue operations as well as any medical costs is mandatory for all of our trips abroad.
