Freeride Trans Liguria

A pioneering journey straight out of a picture book

Quite spontaneously, we decided to cross Liguria from the famous finale to Ventimiglia with a group of motivated bikers. After a warm-up day on the trails around Finale, we headed west on the second day. The hustle and bustle in Finale was quickly behind us and from then on we only met very few bikers on the no less beautiful trails. The second day took us to Ormea, where we filled up our empty batteries with all sorts of delicacies from Italian cuisine in the very cozy hotel. On the third day we took an off-road bus to the start of the trails around Nava, before the highlight awaited us in the afternoon: the never-ending descent down to Molini. Here we spent two more days and had a blast on the very divese trails in the forests around Molini and Triora.

On the last day we had to pedal quite a lot to reach the top, but were rewarded with fascinating insights into the deserted landscape of the Maritime Alps, an alpine trail descent and an idyllic snack with a view. The highlight came on the last descent, an enduro route with rock slabs, small drops and tech flow.
