A wonderful week on Spitsbergen

A worthy end!

Our end of the season on Spitsbergen was once again an absolute highlight. On the first day we were lucky enough to see a polar bear from the boat. Conditions were fantastic all week, allowing us to climb numerous peaks from our floating home, the Ocean B. After an extensive rest at the summit with a fascinating view over the endless glaciers and snow fields, we then started the descent directly to the sea.

Back on the boat, our cook was already waiting for us with fragrant delicacies, making this trip in the untouched wilderness a unique experience.
