A little bit of everything in Japan

Powder, powder, and even a bit of rain.

After six long weeks, our freeride season on Japan's main island of Honshu came to an end last weekend. Most groups enjoyed the hoped-for deep, powdery snow, but towards the end, it got too warm, and the last group in particular didn't have optimal snow conditions.

Fortunately, Japan has plenty to offer besides skiing, with its unique culture and excellent cuisine, so this group was also satisfied with the trip overall.

All in all, Honshu once again delivered exactly what we all hope for: lots of fresh snow and plenty of turns through deep, fluffy powder!
