For many, many years…
...we have been returning to Löschental. We have a magnificent area for freeriding at the height of 3111m. There is a difference in height of 1700m between Hockenhorn and the valley floor. Here, the terrain offers the best conditions for getting into the flow. This trip also offers many highlights. After a leisurely stop at the Lötschenpass hut, we will be able to ascend up to Gitzifurggu using our ski skins. We will also be able to surf on the long and open slopes under the rock pillars of the Balmhorn to Leukerbad. Even the descent from Tennbachlicka is utterly amazing and gives us another view of the mighty Bietschhorn, the landmark of the valley that stands at nearly 4000m.
Upon request from the group, a helicopter flight may also be an option. The ridge shoulder of the Äbeni Flue and the Petersgrat are designated landing sites on the mountain. The descent down from the Äbeni Flue over the Lötschenlücke leads over the glaciers of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
