This trip is also part of the “Homeland of Guides” campaign. Our mountain guide Shanty Cipolli was born in the Aosta Valley and has known the beautiful valley with its many side valleys since childhood. He is an extremley good skier and has participated at the Freeride World Tour.

The Val Gressoney is located in the middle of the former German-speaking Walser valleys south of the Monte Rosa. From La Trinite we take the cable car up to Punta Indren. Here we are spoiled for choice, depending on the snow conditions we can decide in which direction to ski. Steep slopes lead over the Malfata down to Alagna. On the other hand, towards the west in the Valle Perduta or Vallon Salza, there are wide, beautiful slopes that open up to us.
The next day the journey takes us over the Colle Bettaforca to the Val d´ Ayas to the west. One of the highlights of the week is the helicopter flight to Porta Nera with the descent over the twin glacier down to Zermatt. After a lunch break with fine Swiss Röstis, it's time to quickly climb up to the Klein Matterhorn. If the conditions are favorable, we can get back to Val Ayas after a short ascent directly over Valle Verra. The 3 valleys Ayas, Gressoney and Valsesia certainly offer more possibilities than we have days available.
Our Hotel
We are based in the village of La Trinite in the Hotel Dufour. After skiing we are able to enjoy the newly built spa area. Right after a delicious dinner from the cucina Val d´ Aosta will be served in a very nice ambience.
Attention single rooms are not available unfortunately!

Requirements
• This trip is suitable for good skiers with freeride and deep snow practice. Controlled and safe skiing in all types of snow is no problem for you.
• Ascents of up to 1.30 h with skins and climbing bindings are possible. Appropriate equipment, experience and condition are required.
Participants
We offer this trip to a minimum number of 5 and maximum of 6 participants.
Included in the Price of 1790 EUR
- 7 nights with half board in a double room (no single rooms available!)
- 6 days guiding by UIAGM mountain guide Shanty Cipolli
- Safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel) on loan, must be registered at least 30 days before the trip

Requirements and Fitness Level
A realistic self-assessment and an appropriate fitness level is required to join our trips. In order to enjoy a long day of skiing and to reduce the risk of injury, it is important to get in shape and possess a good level of fitness.
