The snow in far east…

Fedia, our mountain guide and friend on Kamchatka, today sent us this picture of Koriaksky volcano (3,456 m) which is the biggest mountain near Petropavlovsk (35km from the city). This picture was taken by a friend of his, a volconologist who was on a scientific flight resently. They have quite a lot of snow already. Even in Petropavlovsk there are about 2 meters of snow. And much more in the mountains, of course. So, we can say that we and our mountains are ready to meet you there.
