Mont Blanc, with its highest peaks, it´s largest glaciers and some of the wildest mountain scenery is known to be one of the best Freeride Spots of the Alps. In 6 unforgettable ski days we will guide you through the best runs from Vallon de Arp to Col de Tour. The week starts in Courmayeur, at the Cresta Youla where we have the choice to ride down the north or the east side with more than 1500 vertical meters of great skiing. One day we will spend at the stunning cable car Funivia Monte Bianco. No matter if we ski Col du Tule or Glacier Malbret we always ski way more than 2000 verts down to the valley floor of Val Ferret. On the 4th day we will visit the northern side of Mt. Blanc, at the Valley of Chamonix. The Grand Montets with its extensive glacier fields is just perfect for Free riding. Some of the highlights on this mountain will be the run down the Pas de Chevre or even the Couloir Recteligne. Of course one day we will ski from the Aiguille du Midi. While most skiers take the gentle way through the Valle Blanche, we will take you through the vast glaciated terrain of Glacier Enverse. On stormy days we alway have the chance to catch great tree skiing in the nearby area of La Tuile. If you want to explore some of the greatest runs around Mt. Blanc this trip will be an unforgettable experience.

Requirements

speedy skiing in open terrain, good skiing technique in deep powder snow
climbs of up to 40 minutes per day are possible

The price of 1,050 EUR includes

6 overnights with half board in double rooms in Hotel Funivia in La Palud/ Courmayeur. Dinner we will have at the restaurant K2 next door.

How to get there

Autobahn (motorway) Bern – Vevey – Martigny – Col du Forclaz -Chamonix Tunnel du Mt. Blanc. At the exit of the tunnel you reach Entreves village. The hotel is called Hotel Funivia and it is located 100 meters above the cable car. We will meet there on 26/02/ 2012 / 7 pm.
